I spent the day yesterday listing a bunch of new things on my etsy shop. I have a few of the items on my website already, but a bunch are new items. Here they are if you would like to take a look.
Hopefully, I will get at least a few new typewriter bracelets completed in the next days too. I know people want them for Christmas presents. If you have a custom design in mind- email me jeanette2619@sc.rr.com.
I also have some new templates I am working on for ebay, hopefully I will do some listing there over the weekend.
It is my first adventure into html and I am feeling a bit confused to put it lightly!
We watched the polar express last night while putting up the tree- what an amazing movie!
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!
I visited my sister and her family in Tampa, Florida over the Holidays. While there, I had to squeeze in an antiques and collectible show, the Tampa Antique Fair
that looked too good to pass up. Luckily, we got there as they were opening the gates on Saturday morning and were able to try and quickly browse through everything without getting too bogged down.
"Harry Rinker" from Collector Inspector on HGTV was going to be there at noon doing appraisals, but we had to be out of there and on the road by then, and I never did get a chance to meet him.
I found lots of antique buttons for my bracelets, some sweet little girl hand embroidered gloves, little dolls, lockets and a bunch of vintage postcards. I have tons of stuff to work with now, between the few shows I have been to this Fall, now I need to get busy creating.
I do have a few things still available on my website for sale, some bracelets, assemblages and dolls if anyone needs to find a unique Christmas present.
Check them out here on my webpage- Carolina Artist
All the Best- Jeanette
BOOOOO!
My little sweetie doesn't look too happy being posed next to "the great pumpkin", but I like the black & orange colors together.
We made an extra Wal-Mart run last night to stock up on candy, so I think we should be ready for the onslaught tonight. I think everyone else had the same idea....the place was a zoo. I am just wondering which scary movie we should put on tonight....I think it will be Frankenstein.
I have been playing around with polymer clay and typewriter keys, but the keys are not holding up too great after the baking. I still need to work on the technique, but feel like there is potential there to create some good designs. I am going to keep experimenting.
Hope you all have a great Halloween!
